After the library is in working order; you need to register your steam id (server owner) as the root user on the server. In order to do this; you may select one of the two methods below and follow the instructions included.

Before picking your desired method; connect to your server using the steam account / id that is designated as the server owner.

❱ Method 1: Server-Side Console

Once you have launched garry's mod and joined your server; tab out of the game and access your server-side console. This typically will be located in your hosting providers' server control panel, or your srcds application window (if you're self-hosting on windows).

If you are unsure of how to access your server-side console; contact your host OR skip to Method 2.

Once you've located your server-side console, type the following command in:

console:
rlib.setup <playername>

For <playername>, do not include the brackets. You may also use your partial player name.

Example: If your in-game player name is John Doe; you may type the following in your server console:

console:
rlib.setup john

Once you've typed the command; you are free to press
